Transformation programs in the metallurgical industry of Uzbekistan

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the programs for the transformation of metallurgical enterprises and plans for 2025. Over the past seven years, production in the metallurgical industry has increased by 1.5 times. Gold production increased by 26 tons, silver by 77 tons, copper by 32 thousand tons. Next year, it is planned to attract $1 billion in investment, increase kaolin production by 50% and bring coal production to 10 million tons. Also, the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant is preparing to issue Eurobonds worth $500 million. These measures are aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the industry and expanding its contribution to the economy.
