The development of the steel industry in Russia has always had quite favorable conditions. Iron casting does not lose its relevance thanks to the development of technologies, improvement of quality and accuracy of casting. Depending on the shape and amount of carbon contained in the iron, there are several types of iron with certain properties: white iron, gray iron, malleable iron and ductile iron.

Malleable iron castings are used to manufacture parts for cars, trucks, tractors, agricultural machinery, pipeline fittings: angles, couplings, tees, shut-off valves (see catalog). Large-tonnage castings weighing from 0.1 to 20 tons are produced in flasks and caissons. All parts are manufactured in accordance with current standards:

Foundry production stages

Work with customer drawings, during which our technical specialists make the necessary calculations and adjust the required to existing standards.
3D-Design of production actions for the creation of cast iron castings. Providing a casting, prototype of any configuration and complexity, such as a gear, or something simpler.
Study of the received sample to identify shortcomings and make some changes.
Production of a pilot batch taking into account all the customer’s wishes.
Development of one or several series of the product on automatic control machines.
Final mechanical processing – jewelry milling, contour improvement, etc.

Production of a pilot casting sample:

Polystyrene is foamed, dried and collected for oxygen enrichment in separate tanks.
Polystyrene models are made under pressure in special equipment, after which our workers assemble them. If more finished units are required, this process is performed by automatic machines four times faster.
The parts obtained at the previous stage are glued into blocks, painted with special non-stick paint and left to dry.
The blocks, located in the center of the steel frame for pouring metal, are formed in the absence of gases and the pressure of a strong sand cushion in all planes.
The alloy is sent to the casting mold, where it destroys polystyrene, freeing up space for itself. The model block allows it to take the required configuration.
As soon as the casting cools down (this can last from several tens of minutes to five hours, depending on the parameters of the product), it is removed and the remaining non-stick coating is removed.
